A
postdoctoral associate position is available with the
Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD) at the
University at Buffalo. We develop large-scale AI software and hardware systems to accelerate AI innovations in various societal impactful applications, across many disciplines including but not limited to sustainability and education.
The position will require the potential candidate to perform the following major job duties:
- Conduct advanced and independent research with consultation of the IAD Director and Co-Directors in the related research areas
- Preparing manuscripts and publishing high-quality journal and conference papers in known venues of the field
- Assist IAD stakeholders and affiliated faculty to develop and prepare multi-disciplinary, multi-institution proposals
- Mentor and lead junior researchers to carry out their respective research topics
