The laboratory of Dr. Daesung Shin at the
Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences-SUNY, Buffalo NY, is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated
Postdoctoral Associate to join our team dedicated to the basic and translational research of lysosomal diseases and neuroinflammation. The lab is in the South Campus with access to cutting-edge resources and core facilities. Potential projects encompass the characterization of novel mutant animal and cell culture models showing cell autonomous effect of lysosomal enzyme deficiency in both central and peripheral nervous systems, and elucidation of anti-inflammatory mechanisms. Applicants should have demonstrated outstanding performance throughout their previous studies with their own publications. The successful candidate is a highly motivated and exceptionally organized team player with good communication skills.
