I seek a highly qualified Postdoc or Ph.D. student, preferably with strong background in soft matter physics and statistical mechanics, for THEORETICAL research. Two research topics are currently available in my group:

1. Dynamics of active elastic networks with application to biosoft and cellular systems, e.g. chromatin. See, e.g., the following publications:

2. Undulatory dynamics of highly viscous and viscoelastic biomembranes with application to flickering spectroscopy and neutron spin echo experiments (joint project with Prof. Petia Vlahovska, Northwestern University; colloboration with NSE researchers at NIST and ILL). Level of stipend (salary) may vary in the range 6,000 - 8,000 NIS per month (net, currently 1,750 - 2,350 $ per month), depending on the candidate level.
