  • I am an experimentalist interested in the physical processes which control the dynamics of energetic particles in the near earth environment, atmosphere, ionosphere and magnetosphere. This work includes the use of high altitude balloons carrying X-ray detectors, small complete satellites, and energetic particle detectors carried on larger satellites. Recent and ongoing work: the BARREL balloon campaigns for radiation belt electron losses, the CINEMA cubesat, TGF sounding balloons, KSEM geosynchronous particle telescope as well as data analysis on the FIREBIRD cubesat.
