My research focuses on modeling transcriptional regulation in fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster). This includes topics in mathematics such as reaction-diffusion equations, numerical solvers, sensitivity analysis and parameter estimation. I am also interested in many other areas that bridge the gap between mathematics, computer science and biology, including data analysis, image processing, evolutionary algorithms and bioinformatics.
