Expertise: The Slavoff lab is interested in developing new tools to elucidate novel functions of RNA in cells, including non-canonical translation, RNA degradation in cytoplasmic granules, and RNA trafficking. We will utilize a broad range of interdisciplinary methods, including mass spectrometry-based proteomics, microscopy, chemical synthesis, and light- and small molecule-mediated control of biomolecular function.
