Dr. Connie Lamm integrates cognitive neuroscience, developmental psychopathology, and emotion regulation theories into her research. She is interested in understanding the neural correlates underlying various self-regulation strategies, such as inhibitory control, and how these strategies differ in the context of emotion. More specifically, she is interested in understanding both the typical and atypical development of these self-regulatory strategies using primarily dense-array EEG and various inverse models, e.g., LORETA.
