Research interests focus on how stream channel morphology and flow regimes adjust to perturbations, either natural or anthropogenic. I collaborate with ecologists who then evaluate how these adjustments affect aquatic and riparian ecosystems. I work across a range of spatial scales that include reach to network scale and headwaters to large mainstem rivers.
