Expertise: Dr. Kobrsi’s research interests are equally split between applied chemistry and chemical education.

Chemical Education: Dr. Kobrsi is interested in learning about the motivational factors of chemistry students, and how students can be encouraged to seek out scientific knowledge and become independent learners. In addition, Dr. Kobrsi has a keen interest in learning about the propagation of misconceptions and their relation to mental models
