Characterization of hybrid nanostructures (i.e., self-assembled molecules) for memory applications; Magnetotransport studies to examine molecular conductivity; and Fabrication of multifunctional chemical sensors. Experimental techniques include: conductive atomic force microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), electrochemistry STM, cyclic voltammetry, spectroscopy (i.e., UV-VIS, Fluorescence & Infrared), low temperature and high magnetic field measurements, and electron beam lithography.
