Expertise: Research focuses primarily on how the crust deforms at plate boundaries. This includes (1) exploring fluid flow, P-T conditions and kinematics of faults in fossil accretionary wedges, (2) characterizing the geometry of seismogenic strain at active convergent and transcurrent margins, and (3) addressing coupling across the brittle-ductile transition.
