My research falls into two main categories: Improving the precision of chemical instrumentation and figuring out how to get more information out of mass spectrometry measurements. I'm currently approaching both of those projects computationally, so students will get lots of experience writing computer code and doing simulations. I also have an interest in finding improved ways of presenting certain topics in general chemistry.
