Expertise: Dr. Tvrdy’s research interests lie in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of low dimensional materials and their use in novel devices. Of particular interest are the optical and electronic properties of single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) and semiconducting quantum dots (QDs).
