His current research interests include the rational design and virtual screening of nanomaterials for heterogeneous and electrochemical catalysis, the design of materials using nanoparticles as buidling blocks, using inorganic-organic hybrid nanoparticles for biological applications, and electronic structure and optical properties of main-group clusters with a focus on using computational methods. Additional research interest include STEM education and developing STEM cirricula for children on the autism spectrum.
