The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking to fill several tenure-track positions, with a start date of August 1, 2025. The rank is open and will be determined by candidate qualifications. Candidates in all areas of mathematics will be considered; applications from those working in geometry, topology, and analysis are desired. Successful candidates are expected to pursue independent research and teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

The department has a PhD program and various MS programs, including a new MS program in Data Science. It has over 50 mathematicians/statisticians and more than 120 graduate students engaged in research in a wide variety of areas in mathematics and statistics. Auburn University’s strong research programs in a variety of areas present many opportunities for interdisciplinary research and for participation in its various multidisciplinary programs.
