The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking to fill two nine-month, full-time, non-tenure-track faculty positions to begin August 2024. The positions are one-year appointments that are renewable subject to annual review of performance, need for services and available funding.

The department seeks enthusiastic candidates who are committed to teaching excellence, actively engaging undergraduates, and are able to teach our undergraduate courses in mathematics and/or statistics. Experience with implementing inquiry, project, or technology-based active learning into teaching will be an asset. Other related duties include preparing course syllabi, grading, maintaining weekly office hours, coordinating and training GTAs for recitation instructions, promoting Mathematics programs and recruiting majors, and participating in activities in conjunction with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the College of Sciences and Mathematics. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
