As a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Physics, this position will support the research program of Professor Xuedong Hu (PI). Projects will focus on quantum coherence and measurement of spin qubits in semiconductor nanostructures. There are collaboration opportunities with Professor Peihong Zhang’s group in the study of qubit coherence and reservoir dynamics.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Work with experimental and theoretical colleagues in identifying key issues in spin qubit coherence and measurement;
  • Perform theoretical studies of spin qubit coherence and/or measurement;
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts;
  • Assist the PI in supervising graduate students.
