The Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking an outstanding candidate for a nine-month, non-tenure-earning lecturer position to teach computer science (CS) and information technology (IT) courses. A supplemental summer appointment may be made following an assessment of performance and the teaching needs of the program. The responsibilities of the position will be to teach a full-time academic load, consisting of seven courses per academic year. The courses may include a variety of topics in the undergraduate CS and IT programs. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, conducting required academic performance assessments, and development of instructional content for course enhancement.
