Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Radiology has positions available for a computer scientist in its Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging. You will work under the supervision of Associate Professor, Bobak Mosadegh, Ph.D., and will be supported by the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging. This work is highly interdisciplinary, involving close collaboration with computer scientists, engineers and medical practitioners.
This specific position will be to help develop software and utilize deep learning algorithms to automate the segmentation and registration of different image modalities for an image guidance system that displays renderings in a mixed reality headset. Previous experience with deep learning of medical images for segmentation is required. Candidates with prior experience with cardiac imaging and/or processing cardiac images is not required but is recommended. Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in computer science or a science or engineering related field. Highly experienced researchers with a Master’s degree will be considered as well.
