The Hemmerling lab in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a postdoctoral position to conduct research on establishing miniaturized 3D-printed ion traps as a novel quantum information and quantum computing platform. The successful candidate will work closely in collaboration with several experimental research groups within the University of California (UCLA, UCB, UCSB) and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental physics (or similar fields) and demonstrate excellence in research and strong communication skills. Experience in experimental atomic physics and quantum information science is strongly preferred.
