A Postdoctoral Research Associate position of Quantum Chemistry is available from the fall of 2021. This position is for the joint project about 2D materials and biosensing using quantum computation and machine learning from Dr. Tao Wei in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Dr. Pratibha Dev in the Department of Physics at Howard University. The appointment is initially for one year and is extendible up to the total of 2.5 years based on the performance of the candidate.

Required qualifications:

1) The candidate is required to have the expertise in QM/MM or/and quantum dynamics simulations.
2) The candidate needs to have good programming skills in one (or more) of the following: C/C++, Fortran and Python

The expertise in Machine learning, NNMD, or Kinetic Monte Carlo would be a plus.
