Dr. Xiaojun Tian's lab at Arizona State University is seeking highly self-motivated Postdoctoral Fellows with excellent quantitative training and communication skills. Candidates with a strong background in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, or other relevant fields are strongly encouraged to apply. Past research experience in quantitative biology, synthetic biology, or systems biology is strongly preferred. Successful candidates will be supported by Dr. Tian's recent NIH R35 grant (Maximizing Investigator's Research Award) award.
Currently, Dr. Tian's lab interests are in employing quantitative experiments and mathematical modeling to address fundamental problems at the interface of synthetic biology and systems biology. The lab focuses on synthetic gene circuits, RNA circuits, cancer plasticity/metastasis, systems biology of kidney diseases. The lab has made significant achievements in this field, along with several publications in high-impact journals. For more information, please visit the lab website (https://tianlaboratory.com.
Interested candidates should send 1) CV/Resume, 2) Personal/Research Statement, 3) College Transcripts, 4) a list of three references, and 5) a cover letter to Dr. Tian at firstname.lastname@example.org.
