The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is looking for a research engineer (1-year contract, renewable) to develop Web and mobile applications for teaching people about deepfakes and their identification. The engineer will work closely with research project members at WKWSCI to conduct research studies and utilize the findings to design, implement and evaluate educational applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Web and mobile applications and games

Collect data through qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, surveys and experiments for the purposes of conducting software evaluation

Manage student assistants and other personnel to support the project

Prepare progress reports and other research-related documents

Write journal or conference articles related to the project

Perform research administration tasks including but not limited to liaising with NTU and external parties on matters related to the project and answering queries about the project
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related computing fields

Strong programming skills

Experience in user interface design and evaluation

Experience with developing Web and mobile applications
