A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in Prof Chong Yidong’s group covering both theoretical and experimental topics in quantum topological photonics, and related topics.

Key areas of research include:

• Study of theoretical models in quantum topological photonics

• Experimental study of quantum and/or topological photonic devices

• Exploration of new topics in related areas of photonics research

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Physics or a related major

• Knowledge of topological insulators/semimetals, and metamaterials

• Minimum 3 years research experience in photonic crystals or metamaterials
