Requirements
A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Statistics with at least four (4) years of lecturing and/or industry experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Competence to teach at least three of the following courses: Stochastic Processes, Biostatistics, Multivariate Analysis and Applied Econometric Modelling. Competence to establish professional networks and maintain links with the industry. A credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (projects) at under-graduate level, and experience in developing under-graduate programmes as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
