Two Positions in Organic Semiconductors and Photovoltaics Devices
A fully funded research associate position is available in the area of photovoltaic device fabrication in the research group of Dr Muhammad Sohail within Energy centre at Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) in Qatar. The project is funded by QNRF-NPRP11S-1231-170150 grant for three years in collaboration with Prof. M. K. Nazeeruddin at EPFL Switzerland.
Research Assistant: The research assistant position is for one year extendable up to three years on the fabrication and characterisation of stable perovskite solar cells. The group is expert on the synthesis of materials and their application of perovskite solar cells; our objectives are highly focused on the stability of PV devices.
PhD Position: The project aims to obtain new, efficient, stable, and cost-effective molecular semiconductor for application into photovoltaic devices.
The project aims are the development of novel materials and interfaces to advance in the perovskite thin-film PV technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write for publication in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, are expected.
