The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:

Employing automated methods for gathering and pre-processing data on software vulnerabilities.

Designing and developing a ranking system based on AI model to calibrate the severity and the feasibility of fixing of vulnerabilities in the open-source software project.

Building a cross-scope conflict remediation tool to effectively manage open-source software dependencies in a software project.
-
Developing a remediation algorithm to integrate the information gathered in previous steps and calculate optimal solutions for the entire open-source software project.

Writing high-quality research papers based on research results.
Job Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security or other related areas.

Experience on data analysis, and software vulnerability reproduction (Proof of Concept).

Familiar with optimization algorithms, such as SMT, and information retrieval techniques, including TF-iDF, N-gram calculation.

Proficient in programming for AI model fine-tuning and algorithm implementations.

Good communication and writing skills.
