Job Summary: Teach courses in anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience, and participate in a research program involving undergraduates.
Responsibilities: Teach the equivalent of a full seven-course load per year, including courses in the introductory biology curriculum, anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience, as well as upper-level biology courses appropriate to the candidate’s qualifications. Engage in ongoing professional and/or scholarly development, and participate in a research program involving undergraduates. General faculty responsibilities include student advising, and department and committee assignments.
Skills: Strong ability and passion for teaching undergraduate students; commitment to excellence in mentoring and scholarship.
Experience: Record of successful college teaching preferred. Participation and evidence of ongoing professional and/or scholarly development.
Education: Ph.D. with an emphasis in anatomy, physiology, or neuroscience.
Compensation: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
