The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) is a school of the College of Science. It was established in 2002 with the mission to make a strong contribution to biological and biomedical sciences. Research areas at SBS include infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases and telomere biology and genome function. Since then, many talented individuals from around the world and Singapore have joined SBS as scientific leaders, and researchers.
A Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Surajit Bhattacharyya, School of Biological Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The project will focus on NMR structures and interactions of protein complexes in integrin signaling.
Key Responsibilities:

Expression and purification of isotope labelled proteins and peptides

Expertise on operating high-field NMR instruments

Analysis of multi-dimensional NMR spectra

Determination of structures using NMR data

Expertise on biophysical methods e.g. ITC
Job Requirements:

A PhD degree in Biophysics, Biochemistry or related areas, with focus on NMR

Experience in NMR methods

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English as required to publish research.
