The Department of Physics at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Astronomy/Astrophysics/Space science/climate physics-related fields. The candidate should have a PhD degree in the relevant field, an outstanding research record and potential for excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in active teaching and learning. The successful candidate is expected to carry out original research in the collaborative and interdisciplinary environment of the Physics Department and College of Science, engage in high-quality teaching, mentor students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
