An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Ann Morris to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying retinal development and regeneration in zebrafish. Dr. Morris’ lab is located in the Department of Biology at the University of Kentucky. More information about the Morris lab can be found here: http://annmorrislab.weebly.com/. We are a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse lab located in a Biology department that features several labs studying organismal development and regeneration across different model organisms. We are looking for applicants with the following skill set: research training in developmental, cellular, or molecular biology; strong writing and communication skills; and an interest in developing novel technical approaches.
Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Ideal start date is late spring/summer 2020. Candidates should have completed their Ph.D. prior to starting this position.
