Visiting Instructor Software/CS
Oregon Tech
We have two one-year positions available. One is on our Klamath Falls campus, the other is on our Portland Metro campus. The positions involve teaching up to three courses per term.
Our intro sequence is in C++, so we expect all candidates to have some level of proficiency in C++. Other courses we are looking to cover include: Design Patterns, Linux System Programming (in C), Graphical User Interfaces and User Experience, Databases, Network Programming, and Concepts of Programming Languages.
We do not expect a single candidate to cover all of those courses, but any candidate should be able to cover some subset of those.

Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s degree or Ph.D. * Experience teaching in higher education.
Additional Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree * Three years relevant industrial experience
