The Poulsen lab is a neuroscience lab in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, in the Department of Neurosurgery. The lab investigates models of stroke, traumatic brain injury and epilepsy and studies neuroprotective agents in these models.
The successful candidate would perform rat surgeries, conduct behavioral and cognitive assessments and perform histological analysis.
Experience with animal research.
Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences related major and/or Master’s degree in Neuroscience with experience in animal research.
