Position Summary

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology, at the University at Buffalo, is seeking a Research Technician 1.  Under close supervision of the Principal Investigator, the ideal candidate will:
  • Conduct a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, PCR, DNA extraction, microscopy, animal work and other laboratory techniques.
  • The ideal candidate will also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.
