The textile fiber recycling team in the
Departments of Chemistry and
Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University at Buffalo invites applications for a
Postdoctoral Associate position. The successful candidate will be driving cutting-edge research into textile fiber recycling sorting technologies using spectroscopic and hyperspectral methods coupled to machine learning techniques and work with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- organize and implement research plans
- develop methods or research that incorporate highly specialized training in a specific specialty
- conduct tests procedures and engage in data collection
- analyze, evaluate, and present findings in professional journals and at professional conferences and meetings
