The Biophysics lab in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) has an opening for Project Officer (PO) research position. We are seeking self-motivated and passionate scientists with a strong background in Chemistry or Biology to work on nucleic acid structure and therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical syntheses

• Engage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and external collaborators for drug discovery and development

• Handle maintenance of equipment and consumables to ensure regular experimentation

• Provide support in grant administration/management and procurement matters

Job Requirements:

• BSc degree in Chemistry, Biology or related disciplines

• Research experience in the related areas

• Able to multi-task and work independently

• Attention to detail and be meticulous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and able to complete experiments on schedule
