Applicants at the assistant professor level should demonstrate excellent research potential in addition to teaching ability. At the associate professor level, demonstrated research merits as well as teaching merits are required; we expect the candidates to have an outstanding track-record in research (including publications in top venues), success in acquiring external funding, and demonstrated academic leadership. Recommendation letters will be taken into consideration, and applicants are encouraged to solicit eminent computer science scholars as referees. External reviews will be used as part of the evaluation for the associate professor level candidates. Short-listed applicants will be invited to present and discuss their research with faculty.
