A postdoctoral associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jennifer Surtees to study triplet repeat dynamics using the model system Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The project involves a combination of in vitro protein biochemistry and in vivo genetic analysis and screening. The Surtees lab provides a collegial environment and has trained a diverse group of people over the years. We welcome scientists from all backgrounds and we mentor trainees at all levels. The Surtees lab is located in the new Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences on the Buffalo Niagara Medical campus in downtown Buffalo, NY.
