Requirements
A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Statistics/Applied Statistics with at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or industrial experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach at least three of the following courses: Mathematical Statistics, Probability Theory, Regression and Analysis of Variance, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Sampling Surveys and Time Series Analysis or Actuarial Science related courses. A credible record of peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, supervision of students (research) at undergraduate level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
