Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chemistry. The hire will have expertise in Physical Chemistry with preference given to individuals with verifiable Experimental capabilities and interests and Instrumental/Spectroscopic experience.

Candidates must have earned doctorates in chemistry or a closely related field. The successful candidate will initiate, build, and sustain a strong externally funded research program, supervise masters and doctoral students, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong teaching skills, display a commitment to high-quality professional service, and actively participate in college responsibilities. Preference will be given to applicants whose research expertise and interests align well with one or more of the interdisciplinary research centers.
