The Space Center at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), http://crei.skoltech.ru/space, is inviting applications for one full-time postdoctoral position and one PhD position. Skoltech is a private graduate research institute in Moscow, Russia, established in 2011 in collaboration with MIT.
The postdoctoral position is offered in the field of solar physics, space weather and analysis of remote sensing and in-situ data. The research area is on coronal mass ejections and their space weather impact. The postdoc will also have a chance to mentor graduate students at the Institute and support course teaching for her or his professional development. A highly competitive salary is provided, in addition to medical insurance, expatriate benefits (if applicable), and faculty mentoring. The position is for 1 year with possible extention, and can start as early as 1st September 2018. Deadline for application: 30th June 2018.
A PhD position is offered in the field of solar physics and space weather to work on solar eruptive events and their space weather impact. A position is offered for a candidate with expertise in solar physics, space weather and analysis of remote sensing and in-situ data.
The PhD position is funded for 4 years, and starting 1st of November 2018.
