The College of Nursing at Villanova University seeks nominations and applications for a full-time faculty position with preparation in statistics or related field. The successful candidate will teach, assist and advise faculty and graduate and undergraduate students on design of research and scholarly projects using valid and reliable techniques, assist in analysis and interpretation of statistical data and participate in preparation of grant applications and publications. Be engaged in research and scholarly work in area of specialty and maintain active involvement in the College, University and professional community.

Duties and Responsibilities
Teach, advise, participate in assisting and advising faculty and students in design of research and scholarly projects, assist in analysis and interpretation of statistical data and participate in preparation of grant applications and publications. Be engaged in research and scholarly work in area of specialty, and maintain active involvement in the College, University and professional community.
Masters degree in statistics or related field required. Doctoral degree in relevant area preferred. Familiarity and experience working with nursing and/or health related research. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous teaching experience in a college or university academic program and teaching philosophy commensurate with Villanova Universitys mission and values required. Evidence of scholarly productivity, and publications required.
Expertise in quantitative statistics highly desired. Experience in analysis of large data sets highly desired. Doctoral degree in Statistics or related area preferred.
