The Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University in the City of New York invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist to work in the Im Research Group.
The successful candidate will support the operation and maintenance of laser-irradiation systems and micro-structural characterization tools (TEM, SEM, EBSD, AFM, OM) and other research related activities in the Im research lab.
A Ph.D. (or equivalent professional degree) in physics/applied physics or a related field is required along with at least 3 years of post-doctoral experience. Prior experience with laser-irradiation systems and micro-structural characterization tools essential.
